# exora health > An Australian personal health record app. Patients upload medical documents of any > kind and exora reads, structures and unifies them into one health record the patient > owns. Every extracted fact links back to the exact page and line of the source > document. Free to use on iOS, Android and web. exora is built by Exora Health Pty Ltd (ABN 16 690 025 462), an Australian company founded by a doctor. All patient data is stored in Sydney, Australia, on Australian-hosted infrastructure and remains under Australian jurisdiction. AI providers operate under paid agreements that prohibit using exora data to train their models. Signup is open to the public. There is no invite code and no waitlist. ## What it does - **Document ingestion.** Upload pathology results, discharge summaries, prescriptions, imaging reports, specialist letters, immunisation records, handwritten notes or photos of paper records. A multi-pass AI pipeline reads them for clinical meaning rather than just extracting text, and codes the results against SNOMED CT, RxNorm and LOINC. - **Source-linked facts.** Every condition, medication and result in the record links back to the exact page and line of the document it came from, so any claim can be checked against the original. This is the main guard against AI error going unnoticed. - **Chat about your own records.** Ask questions about conditions, medications, results and history in plain language, or by voice. Answers are grounded in the patient's own uploaded documents and cite them. - **Appointment recording.** With the clinician's consent, record a consultation in-app. exora produces a transcript, a plain-language summary, and adds new clinical information to the record. - **Family and dependants.** Manage separate profiles for children, ageing parents, other dependants and pets alongside your own. - **Granular sharing.** Share specific parts of a record with a doctor, specialist or family member, choose what each person can see, and revoke access at any time. - **Wearables.** Apple Health data can be imported and sits alongside clinical records. ## Cost Free to use. Optional paid memberships are planned for the future; the free tier is intended to remain. exora does not sell or monetise patient health data. ## Availability Australia is the primary market, and the product is designed around Australian healthcare terminology, Medicare structures and pathology conventions. The apps are available worldwide on the App Store and Google Play, and the site is published in ten locales. ## Important limitations exora is a record-keeping and comprehension tool, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, does not provide medical advice, and is not a substitute for a qualified clinician. AI extraction can be wrong, which is why every fact is traceable to its source. A direct integration with My Health Record does not exist yet; records from My Health Record must currently be downloaded and uploaded manually. ## Key pages - [Home](https://exora.au/): what exora is and who it is for - [How it works](https://exora.au/how-it-works/): the upload-to-record flow - [Features](https://exora.au/features/): full capability list - [Supported documents](https://exora.au/supported-documents/): formats and document types - [Security](https://exora.au/security/): encryption, isolation and data residency detail - [Privacy policy](https://exora.au/privacy/): what is collected and how it is handled - [FAQ](https://exora.au/faq/): 32 common questions answered - [Guides](https://exora.au/guides/): getting started, uploading, sharing, AI chat, scribe - [Technology](https://exora.au/technology/): the AI pipeline and clinical coding approach - [Mission](https://exora.au/mission/): why patient-owned records - [Blog](https://exora.au/blog/): patient data rights, how the pipeline works, and more - [Press](https://exora.au/press/): media resources and coverage ## Contact - Website: https://exora.au - App: https://app.exora.au - Contact form: https://exora.au/contact/ - LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/exora-health/ ## Identity This document describes **exora health**: the Australian personal health record app published at exora.au, operated by Exora Health Pty Ltd (ABN 16 690 025 462), available on the App Store as "exora health" and on Google Play as `com.exorahealth.exora`.
