Health Stories
Your medical history is more than a list of data points. Health Stories weave the related pieces together into clear, evolving narratives about your health.
What is a Health Story?
A raw health record can tell you that you have a condition, take certain medications, and have had various test results. A Health Story connects those dots. exora recognizes which medications, results, visits, and notes belong together, gathers them into a single story, and explains the bigger picture.
Instead of “you have type 2 diabetes, take metformin, and see Dr Smith”, a Story tells you how it all fits: the condition, how it is being managed, how your results are trending, and who is involved in your care - in plain language.
They build themselves
You do not have to create or maintain Stories. As you upload documents and your record grows, exora generates and updates your Stories automatically. Add a new result or a discharge summary, and the relevant Story quietly updates to reflect it.
This means your Stories always stay current with your latest records, with no manual effort.
Stories for different kinds of health
Not every part of your health reads the same way, so exora tailors each Story to what it describes - for example:
- Ongoing conditions managed over time, with medications and trends front and center.
- One-off episodes, such as an infection or an injury, from onset to resolution.
- Treatment journeys with several stages, like a procedure and its recovery.
- Routine monitoring and screening, focused on how things are tracking.
What is inside a Story
Open a Story and you will find the relevant parts of your record brought together in one view:
- A short summary and the key milestones along the way.
- The medications, results, and procedures that belong to the story.
- Trends over time for things like lab results and vitals.
- The healthcare providers involved and a timeline of the visits.
- Links to related Stories, so you can follow the threads of your health.
Explore and ask
Stories are a starting point, not a dead end. Tap any item - a medication, a result - to drill into its full detail. And when a Story raises a question, you can ask exora about it directly and continue the conversation in chat, with the Story as context. See the using the AI chat guide for more.
Growing with your record
Health Stories are a new and evolving part of exora, and they get richer as we expand what they can capture and as you add more of your records from more sources. The more complete your record, the more complete and useful your Stories become.
