Account & Data Deletion
Exora Health Pty Ltd (ABN 16 690 025 462)
This page explains how to request deletion of your exora account and the data associated with it, and what happens to that data when you do. exora is a personal health data app published by Exora Health Pty Ltd.
How to delete your account in the app
- Open the exora app and sign in.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Account, then Close account.
- Follow the prompts to confirm. Your account is closed immediately and your data becomes inaccessible.
If you cannot access the app
Email us at hello@exora.au from the email address on your account and ask us to delete your account. We will verify your request and action it within 30 days.
What is deleted
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove your personal and health information, including: your profile details, uploaded medical documents, all extracted clinical data (conditions, medications, allergies, vital signs, laboratory results, procedures, and immunisations), chat history and any photos shared in chat, voice conversation transcripts, and your stored files.
Deletion works in two stages. Your account first enters a 30-day recovery window, during which you can reactivate it by signing back in. After 30 days, an automated process permanently deletes all of the data above.
What is kept, and for how long
For legal and compliance reasons, we retain audit log entries (records of data access and changes, including user identifiers and timestamps) for 7 years after account deletion. We also retain aggregated processing metrics that do not contain your health data. Automated database backups are kept on a rolling 7-day basis and are then overwritten.
