Request removal of family medical history
If a relative has uploaded their medical history to exora and you appear in their records, you can request that the information about you be redacted.
What this form does
exora is a patient-owned health platform. When someone uploads their own medical records, those records sometimes mention relatives' health history (for example, a GP letter that says "patient's mother had breast cancer"). By default exora stores relationship labels (mother, father, sibling) rather than personal names, but names can occasionally appear in the original document text.
Submitting this form sends a redaction request to exora's privacy team. Requests are reviewed manually and resolved as quickly as we can - typically within 5 business days.
How requests are handled
We confirm receipt within 1 business day, ask any clarifying questions, then redact the records. Redaction replaces the affected entries with "[redacted at relative request]" and removes any free-text notes about you. Original source documents remain in the user's account but the entry no longer surfaces in any view or share.

If you would rather email us directly: privacy@exora.au
What we do not do
We do not contact the exora user on your behalf, share your request with them, or share their account details with you. The user is notified that a request has been actioned, but not who made it.
